A R6.8 million project to upgrade the maternity
Unit and neonatal intensive care unit, completed in Life
Mercantile Hospital in Port Elizabeth. The labor market
Section now includes two-bedroom suites and two
Labor market suits the postnatal ward now has a
Private Suite and a semi-private suite in addition to
general wards with either three, four or five beds.
The upgrade demonstrates the commitment of hospital
for the provision of quality health care for the communities
it serves.
